Location

Auchenblae is a charming village situated south of Aberdeen and within easy commuting distance of the city and the airport. The village has a general store, a primary school, health centre and a village hall. Older children attend Mearns Academy in Laurencekirk. The Den has a childrens' play area, tennis courts, putting green and bowling, and there is a golf course on the outskirts of the village. Laurencekirk is approximately 6 miles from the village and as well as a selection of shops, it also has a railway station for easy access to Aberdeen and Dundee.

Directions

From Aberdeen take the A90 dual carriageway south for approximately 20 miles and turn right on to the B966 signposted Fettercairn/Auchenblae. On entering the village turn left on to Monboddo Street and No 5 is on the left hand side.
