Description

This delightful country house is situated in Ballogie, a small hamlet which is situated within easy reach of Aberdeen and the airport, and a stone's throw from Aboyne, Finzean and Banchory. The property was designed to take full advantage of the wonderful landscape around, and features a well proportioned house which spans two floors, a detached single garage, and a charming garden from which to enjoy the picturesque views, which change constantly with the seasons. The spacious and versatile rooms offer comfortable family living, and with bedrooms and bathrooms on both levels, it widens the appeal to young and elderly alike. Decorated throughout in a neutral palette, early viewing is strongly recommended to appreciate the quality of accommodation throughout, but especially to recognise the idyllic setting and exceptional panorama. The accommodation includes a welcoming hallway, with an impressive staircase to the upper floor, a vaulted ceiling and a flood of natural light. The lounge has a front aspect and a lovely outlook, and it leads through to the garden room which provides a wonderful addition to the living space, offering the same stunning views and entry to the garden. The kitchen has ample space for relaxed dining, and it features a wide range of oak wall and base cabinets with laminate countertops, the oven, hob and extractor are integrated, the fridge freezer is free-standing, and there is space for a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. From here, there is a door which leads to the rear lobby and to the outside, and it has a large store cupboard, and a useful cloakroom with white fittings. A double bedroom has built in wardrobes, an en-suite shower room and completes the ground floor layout. Upstairs, a wide galleried landing with cupboard space has roof windows, and a flood of natural light. There are two double bedrooms, both equally proportioned, with built in wardrobes and bay windows. The family bathroom has a bath as well as a shower enclosure, and a window provides extra light and ventilation.
